Along the banks of a small creek on Carter Road, SR 3005, off 367, the first vineyard and winery in Susquehanna County, NEPA (Northeastern Pennsylvania) opened for business in November 2006 offering an impressive range of original recipe fruit wines — from traditional red & white, sweet & dry wines to a growing selection of specialty fruit flavors.

Using fewer tannins and chemical additives in the original recipe production, Hidden Creek's wines are lower in sulfites resulting in fresh, clean flavors from locally grown fruit. This process is the basis for the growing selection of premium fruit wines available for tasting.

Each wine has its own identifying finish. You’ll fall in love with the unique flavor and color of the ever popular specialty Bluestone, named after the local PA blue stone quarries. Hedgehog is made from fresh pressed apples grown locally at Jayne’s Orchards and our B.B Bear is made from blueberries from Blueberry Haven. Another favorite is Autumn, which is a perfect blend of the Niagara grape with a splash of the chambourcin—very pretty to the eye having a distinct nose of grapes. All Hidden Creek’s wines pair perfectly with cheese, chocolate or your favorite savory or sweet recipes or as a relaxing drink after supper and watching TV.
